Why are your prices shown as a range, and do I provide gratuity?​​

In order to try to keep bodywork accessible and affordable to as many people as possible, we use a sliding scale to set our rates and do not accept gratuity.

What is your cancellation policy?

• All no-call-no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee previously agreed upon.​

• same-day-cancellations will be charged 50% of the service fee if I am not able to fill the appointment slot.

Is Maya Abdominal Therapy only for women?

• Maya Abdominal Therapy is for anyone regardless of how they identify, or the body they inhabit. Anyone can benefit, especially those with digestive issues and pelvis alignment regardless of identity.​

Do I have to completely undress for my service?

• For massage sessions, you will be asked to undress to your level of comfort. No matter to what degree you choose to undress, you will remain covered by a sheet at all times. Only the areas of the body being worked on will be uncovered.​

• For Maya Abdominal therapy sessions, whether or not you will need to undress will occur on a case-by-case basis. I recommend wearing a comfortable, loss-fitting top, and flexible pants such as leggings.

Can I receive Maya Abdominal Therapy when on my period?

• This will be determined on a case-by-case basis, but you should try to plan your first Maya Abdominal therapy appointment on a day when you are not expecting your period.​
