About Massage

Did you know that the first possible recording of a foot massage was found in Egyptian hieroglyphics? Massage has been around as a healing treatment for a long time! Additionally, there is a growing body of scientific evidence of the myriad of health benefits of frequent massage including improved sleep, less anxiety, less depression, fewer PTSD symptoms, , injury recovery, improved sports performance, and pain management.

I believe that the body is made to move, so I incorporate a lot of movement into my massages, in combination with a number of modalities and techniques including sports massage, Swedish massage, muscular-neural techniques, craniosacral therapy, abdominal massage, prenatal massage, and breath work. I believe the most effective bodywork takes place when it is a collaboration between practitioner and client. I am passionate about helping people connect to their bodies and the infinite wisdom they contain within.
